Protection of intellectual property is to promote the useful information creation and spread, however, imbalance of intellectual property will lead to worsen the information ecosystem. If we have an ecological perspective on the protection of intellectual property, it will help us to realize a sustainable development in information ecosystem by clarifying the binary choice in intellectual property and constructing intellectual property protective mechanism with the systems approach.
