By the means of statistics and bibliometric methods, this paper is engaged in analyses to the past 12 years of scientific and technical cooperation across the Taiwan Straits, focusing on five aspects of the SCI co - author papers, thus, the general growth, subject categories, quality assessments, hot fields as well as the introduction of cooperation situation among specific organizations. Potential problems are also discussed.
