Email,which is the most widely utilized application on the Internet,is one of the most important communica- ting tools carrying masses of useful information for business operation.Aiming at providing effective and efficient solution for managing business emails,this paper makes an analysis on the connotation of email management,while plumbing the contents of email management from three layers:data management,technology and application.By explaining character- istics and expression of email data,the study brings forward a management frame named"DTA",based on which email classification and management model has been further explored as well.
