The construction of social capital is of significant strategic meanings for resources utilization,ethnic solidarity and economic development,social stability in the west national minority areas.This paper gives an analysis to the characteristics of social capital and the stern restrictions of social capital construction in west national minority area.Then it pointes out the focus of social capital construction in west national minority area is to improve the social capital environment,strengthen guidance of the government,pay attention to the traditional culture inheritance,advance different cultural exchange and perfect legal system.
