Abstract:This study constructed the dimensions of professional skills for Chinese graduates from the perspective of employability.The items were acquired through the interview and Delphi approach based on the generic model method.Based on the investigation of graduates,the dimensions and factors of professional skills were constructed by the means of cluster analysis and exploratory factor analysis(EFA).To test the direct effects of the EFA,structural equation modeling was employed to conduct the confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)based on the data investigated from the enterprises in northeast China. The models demonstrated good fit,so,it was confirmed that the professional skills consist of 5 dimensions,including 17 factors and 55 items.
