Based on increasing returns to scale,this article analyzes the role of agglomeration economies in China's regional growth with the aggregate production function.The estimation results show that the agglomeration effect is strong.It is also found that the agglomeration effects of regions are influenced greatly by the differences of urbanization level and transform progress of the economic institution.
