Diversity is a principal feature of one industrial ecosystem and can help the system improve its functions,alleviate disruptions,adapt to the local surroundings and promote its evolution.This paper discusses the relation between industrial ecosystem and its diversity.Based upon it,this paper raises the concept of diversifying industrial ecosystem and analyzes its essentials.It also studies the mechanism of diversifying an industrial ecosystem,as well as the relevant measures,in order to provide decision support for those industrial system managers.
