Since ancient times,Xinjiang locates in a particularly important position in China's economic and social development strategies.The trend of regional economic integration between Xinjiang and South-Central Asia is inevitable either from the view of geopolitical point or from the view of geo-economic point.The concept of Xinjiang economic circle,to a certain extent,which definite the necessity and feasibility of regional economic cooperation between Xinjiang China and South-Central Asia.We can predict that Xinjiang will become the intermediary that linking China with the Central Asia,South Asia,West Asia and even Europe,it will become the "catalyst" and "propeller" in the economic cycle of China's western regions,it also becomes another international trade centre in Eurasia.It makes the historic contribution for the rise of the "Greater China economic circle" in the East.The paper analyses the status and role of Xinjiang in regional economic cooperation between China and South-Central Asia under the background of concept of Xinjiang economic circle.
