Expert consulting system is important for pushing forward the scientification and democratization of decision making,especially for public decision making.This article firstly analyzed the relationship between consulting institute and decision making department,as well as the way of consultation in present China.Then the typical problems in China's expert consulting system and the institutional reasons behind them were explored.Finally,this article brought forward some suggestions on improving China's expert consulting system.
