Life science and bio-technology have brought a lot of serious ethical,social and legal issues(ELSI) while it brings benefits for people.Because there are open discussions and hot debates among stakeholders related to bioethical issues,governance is used to deal with the issues in the international society.The paper expounds the main contents of ethical governance,and examines the progress and its problem in the field of bioethics and biopolitics in China.Finally,the authors provide several recommendations on the bioethical governance capacity and building the governance mechanism of life science and biotechnology research.
