Objective: Biotechnology is showing increasing significance in national safety,its rapid development has promoted technology foresight as decision tools for technical strategic planning,so the technology foresight research on biotechnology influencing defense has been performed.Method: Using expert consultation method,25 critical biotechnology is predicted and screened according to the importance rate of defense related technologies and platforms,the technology is clustered by importance and realization rate,and foresight technology realization time schedule.Results and conclusion: The research draws the priority and realization degree of technology,as well as gives suggestion for scientific planning and strategy development.
