Spatial differentiation of regional development of 155 farms in Xinjiang production and construction group(XJPCC) is analyzed from 1990 to 2005 in this paper.Regional development level of XJPCC has been increasing since 1990s' and effects of agglomeration and dispersion is remarkable more and more.Internal differentiation shows that farms which have the strongest development strength are promoted continuously and general-development-strength farms are weakened relatively.Those farms which are weaker in development strength are in starting development stage,improve steadily and appear differentiation trend.Distinct spatial differentiation is also found in different regions.Being as for the whole,farms in economic belt of northern slope of Tianshan Mountain have improved prominently and the whole region has the superiority of development.Agglomeration of farms in Tarim river valley increased and agglomeration in independent piece area became weaker.Location directivity is one of the important factors which cause growth difference among farms.Farms which locate in the edges and suburbs of big cities grow most rapidly and farms which locate in frontier area with few land and population resources grow most slowly.According to Spatial differentiation trend of XJPCC farms,spatial strategy optimized organization of farms development is put forward and some suggestions is discussed in the last.
